Last chance this week to see the most original and unusual art show in the area, now at the Carnegie Center for the Arts in Three Rivers. “Putting It Together” showcases visionary and expressive fine art created with a wide range of non-traditional art materials – “mixed-media” that includes fabric and fiber, paper, wood, metal, found objects and many other bits and pieces “put together” with each artist’s individual expression. The show was created by Kalamazoo fiber artist Angelica Roberts and Three Rivers area artist Gail Walters, who invited 14 artists to share their vision. Don’t miss it.
“Putting It Together” will be available for viewing Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 5pm and Saturday, 10am to 2pm, until Saturday, April 14, in Carnegie’s Armstrong, Fireplace and Wong Galleries. The Carnegie Center for the Arts is located in downtown Three Rivers at 107 N. Main Street (across from the Post Office), phone 269-273-8882, website www.trcarnegie.com. Admission is free.
