Artists’ Inspiration Day
A lively bunch of Guild members got out of their “comfort zone” and tried some new media in a workshop led by Gail Walters in Lisa & Mike’s sunny studio downtown on Sunday. Textures, tape, poured acrylics, glue, metallic paint… A 7-Layer Painting.

Brian sends word of the Bluegill Frolic Aug. 26-28 in Marcellus.
The Marcellus DDA is spearheading an attempt to rehab the old Columbian Hotel in Marcellus into an “arts building.” On Saturday, August 27, the Hudson Memorial Building in conjunction with the Columbian Hotel Committee and the Bluegill Frolic Committee will host an “unjuried artist show and sale”. 10×15 spaces will be $20 inside in the gym or outside on the lawn, a donation to the building fund.
