The Christmas Around Town weekend was tremendous fun, lots of people through our Holiday Art Market and Gallery. We have a photo in today’s (Monday, Nov. 30) Commercial-News, showing Judith Brook and her llama fiber items with paintings hanging in the background. “Sampling Artistic Wares”, pg. 5. Click on this link: “Crowds abounded around town” for the Commercial-News slideshow of photos of the event, including the Three Rivers Artists Guild Holiday Art Market and Gallery.
Three Rivers Artists Guild member Kathy Bingaman is also mentioned on the same page for volunteering to paint faces for children at the Carnegie Center during the ‘Christmas Around Town’ celebration. Kathy Bingaman also has her handcrafted jewelry on display at the Artists Guild Holiday Art Market and Gallery.

The beautiful music of Nich Martin and Nathan Moore’s Methodstar
graced the Three Rivers Artists Guild opening day. In this photo, Nathan is accompanying vocalist Nich on the ukulele – unusual, but it sounded really great! He also plays the banjo and guitar. You can hear them, watch their videos, and find out more about the duo on their Myspace pages : http://www.myspace.com/
We were also visited by the Three Rivers High School choir, which sang a round of Christmas carols for the artists and visitors.
